Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Conference, Concert & Celebration
The 54th Annual Martin Luther King Memorial Breakfast celebration will gather under the banner: Keeping the Promise of Democracy.
In light of the assaults on affirmative action, civil rights, reproductive care, and protections for LGBTQ+ people, we are inspired by the words of Dr. King on the steps of the Lincoln memorial, “This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.”
Our program will include political and community leaders and music by local musicians. This year we welcome Keynote Speaker, Khalil Gibran Muhammad, Ph.D., a Ford Foundation Professor of History, Race and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School.
So let us gather to build up the Beloved Community in Boston and beyond!

New This Year: E-Tickets with QR Code Check-In
To ensure a smooth check-in at this year’s event, we will be using electronic tickets (e-ticket) with scannable QR codes.
E-tickets will be emailed to the ticket holder(s) with a QR code for check-in.
Each e-ticket holder must present their QR code using an electronic device or printed copy of the Ticket!
Important Information about Tickets
General Admission — Assigned Seating
To accommodate planning our large event, assigned seats must be purchased by January 3, 2024.
Tickets purchased at the same time with the same payment method will be assigned to sit together.
Tables seat ten people.
If you would like to reserve a table, we encourage you to purchase all ten tickets in the same transaction.
Guests who purchase tickets on or after 1/4/2024 will only be able to purchase community seating tickets (see information below).
Please note: Assigned seating registration ends on 1/3/2024. If you would like to be seated together with others, please purchase your tickets in the same transaction. Upon checkout there will be a section to input emails in order for us to send each ticket directly to each ticket holder.
Group Seating
The only way to ensure that you and your group are seated together is to purchase your tickets together. So please be mindful of this fact as you purchase tickets for this event.
You may reserve a full table by ordering 10 tickets in the same transaction.
General Admission — Community Seating
This year we are introducing Community Seating as a new approach to encourage networking and community building among our variety of guests.
Community Seating ticket-holders will be able to sit freely at designated “Community Seating” tables at the Breakfast on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
Tickets purchased under Community Seating offer a chance to network over breakfast with others interested in building and re-imagining the Beloved Community in Boston!
Please note: All guests who purchase tickets on or after 1/4/2024 will be assigned Community Seating. Everyone who purchases Community Seating will receive a seat. There is a possibility of onsite limited ticket sales, however this is not guaranteed. We encourage everyone who wants to attend the breakfast to purchase a ticket prior to arrival. All seats purchased after 1/3/2024 will be designated “Community Seating.”
