To celebrate the opening of the Boston Common Frog Pond, The Skating Club of Boston will host their annual Tree Lighting Skating Spectacular on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023at 5:00 pm.
The free event will be headlined by Olympian Ashley Wagner and feature skaters of all levels who train at The Skating Club of Boston. The Boston Common Tree Lighting will follow the Skating Spectacular at 6:00 pm.
The Skating Spectacular, which is free and open to the public, offers the public a chance to see national and international competitive figure skaters, soloists, groups, wee skaters, and Team Excel Synchronized Skating and Theatre On Ice of Boston teams all in the middle of the historic and iconic Boston Common.
After the show, the City of Boston will ceremoniously flip the switch and light up the trees of the Boston Common for the holidays!
