Why not try snowshoeing.
For ages 8 to adult, it's also a great family activity.
Spend the day at deCordova and include lunch in the Café and a visit to the museum.
It's fun: It appeals to anyone who wants to enjoy nature in winter.
Plus, snowshoeing can be a social activity.
Families, adults, beginners and seasoned snowshoers alike can all enjoy the sport together.
It's easy: If you enjoy walking, then you can snowshoe!
Snowshoes offer more control than skiing and a trained EMS instructor will give beginners instruction on stance, pole usage, etc.
If you have never been snowshoeing, you are in for a treat.
It lets you enjoy nature and the beauty of deCordova in spectacular form.
Cost includes snowshoe instruction, a guided Sculpture Park tour, and museum admission.
Tours are approximately 90 minutes and are led by a trained deCordova Museum Guide and an EMS instructor.
Adults: $15 Members, $25 Not Yet Members + $12 for snowshoe and pole rental (if needed)
Youth 8-18: $12 Members, $20 Not Yet Members + $12 for snowshoe and pole rental (if needed)
All tours are weather permitting and subject to cancellation.
