The Free Annual Nighttime 'Illuminus' Festival Returns To Downtown Boston For Its 5th Edition And Features More Than A Dozen Regional Artists Working In New Media Technologies -- Light and Sound.
Presented by Downtown Boston BID and LuminArtz, ILLUMINUS 2019 is a spectacular, free nighttime festival where local artists, designers, and performers turn an office-
building-heavy section of downtown into an immersive art installation.
The festival will include large scale projection mapping, interactive digital projects, immersive installations and more. This year ILLUMINUS has partnered with LuminArtz and the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District (BID) to present the festival throughout this Downtown neighborhood.
ILLUMINUS is the perfect post-work, pre-dinner experience, a special treat for families with eye-popping kid-friendly exhibits, and an enhancement to shopping, eating, and visiting the vibrant Downtown Boston area.
This year’s festival will be located between Downtown Crossing and Financial District areas, start your journey at 100 Summer Street.
(Milton Place will be closed to traffic during ILLUMINUS)
