About the North Shore Children's Museum
Located in historic Salem, MA - a small indoor play area for children that is run by parent volunteers. From paints to puppets, the museum packs a wide variety of activities in one open room. In addition to exhibits, the museum also offers daycare and Saturday morning art programs.
The space affords children the opportunity to explore, imagine and pretend in a variety of ways:
- Climb aboard for adventure on the 50-foot tugboat
- Learn about local marine life at the tidepool
- Visit the doctor's office or serve lunch in the diner
- Be creative in the craft room
- Pretend you're at the beach in the sandbox
- Make music and merriment in the music room
New - Playgroup Program
A playgroup with storytelling, crafts, song and free play is offered for eight weeks at The North Shore Children's Museum. Fee $40. Meets Wednesdays 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The Museum is run by Volunteers who work Hard To MainTain the Space. Parents are Welcome to Donate Musical Instruments, Dress - Up and Puppets and Their Time.
