Enjoy a fun day of learning about and flying kites at the Observatory. There will be kite making sessions with a lecture and tour of the weather station, and kite flying outside on the summit of Great Blue Hill.

Cost is $10 per person including kite, 1 adult helper admitted free with each child, $5 for spectators. General public tours will also be available all weekend.

The summit of Great Blue Hill can be reached by hiking or biking from the Trailside Museum and Blue Hill Ski Area parking lots on Route 138. The summit access road is not open to public vehicles; the walk up the hill to the Observatory along the summit road is approximately one mile. Trail maps and information are available at the Trailside Museum.
