The event will be held on Sunday, April 11 (10-11:30am) at Richardson-Olmsted School (101 Lothrop Street) in North Easton. Birthday Wishes is a local nonprofit organization that brings birthday parties to homeless children living in shelters in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
At the event, children and parents will assemble goodie bags and make cards. Cost is $10/family. Each family is asked to bring a pack of juice boxes for donation. Geared for children ages 3-8. Register online at www.jccgb.org/south or contact south@jccgb.org or 781-795-0510.
The program is a collaboration of the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston and Jewish Family Service of Metrowest with generous support from Combined Jewish Philanthropies. Interfaith families, single parents, people with disabilities and GLBT families are welcome.
