Explore inside real WWII army vehicles including a M35 Deuce & a half, an DUKW (duck) amphibious truck, a vintage Jeep and ambulance. Enjoy informal performances of WWII songs from 10am-12pm and hear the story of The Candy Bomber, the true story of a bomber pilot who dropped hanky-parachutes filled with candy from his plane into West Berlin for the children to share after WW2 had ended and the Russians had blockaded the food supply West German civilians.
Veterans and active duty members of the United States Armed Forces admitted free with I.D.
The Museum is located at 132 Main Street in Wenham, MA, (978) 468-2377, www.wenhammuseum.org. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is $7 for adults, and $5 for children ages 1-16
