The Discovery Museums’ Summer Half-Price Friday Nights continue this Friday August 6th, with Summer’s Night Sky at 6:00 pm. Families can get ready for the Perseid Meteor Shower (August 11-12) by learning how to locate the constellations in the summer sky with science teacher Frank Meeham. Families are invited to pack a picnic and enjoy the campus in the evening.

Program is free with half-price admission. Half-price admission starts at 4:30pm ($5.25 for adults and kids, $4.75 for Seniors 60+, free for children under 1 and Members); both the Science Discovery and the Children’s Discovery museums will stay open late, until 9:00pm.

The Discovery Museums will collect donations for the Acton Food Pantry on Fridays as party of this special family promotion. AFP’s wish list items include spaghetti sauce, 100% fruit juice, canned fish, macaroni & cheese, toilet paper, baby food and diapers.
