Rice is one of the most abundant and valuable crops in the world today. In his new photographic book, author and photographer Richard Sobol takes a journey to Thailand where rice sustains a nation and is celebrated with colorful festivals of song and dance.

Explore the life of rice from the beginning of the growing season to the hard work of transplanting and harvesting the plants.
