Join us for an Afternoon Adventure at the Andover Historical Society on Thursday, February 17th , 3:30-5:30 p.m. Girl Scouts are invited to Disability Awareness: Helen Keller’s Visit to Andover. Cost for this pre-registered program in $10 per scout, which includes a snack and all craft supplies. Programs are limited to 20 participants ages 9-11. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged because the programs fill quickly. Please call 978.475.2236 for more information or to reserve your place.

February 17th , Disability Awareness: Helen Keller’s Visit to Andover
In May of 1891, Helen Keller visited Andover and spoke publicly for the first time. Learn about the incredible story of Helen Keller as a child and throughout adulthood. During this multisensory program experience the world with your fingertips, join in crafts and games that will explore what life was like for people with disabilities in the past, and present.

The Andover Historical Society tells the unique stories of Andover through its museum, library, archives, exhibitions, publications and programs.
