Stories will be shared, the children’s own non-fiction short stories will be read aloud, followed by a show-and-tell of their own class turtles, Yertle and Lynn-D. Stay on and paint a (discounted) clay turtle; let the morning’s events inspire your creative interpretation! Free to all ages (pottery project discounted for attendees).

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Take the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop and you will arrive across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just over 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
