At Magical Marvels on 10/18, listen to a story from Tales of Mystery and Magic and then roll up your sleeves as we explore “mystical” aspects of science: turn a liquid into a solid creating a yummy fruity brew, and mix some mysterious ingredients together to form a crazy concoction!
At Monster Madness on 10/22, we’ll share tales from The Barefoot Book of Giants, Ghosts, and Goblins and design unearthly creature with movable arms and legs, and create a special tool to hunt for prey in a murky lagoon!
Ages 4+. $5 per child ($10 family max.). There is a limit; pre-register to reserve your spot! Featured Barefoot Books titles available at 50% discount to participants!

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
