(Thursday, Nov. 10th & Tuesday, Nov. 15th at 4pm): Journeys through Time and Space! Children (ages 4+) can explore science-themed activities inspired by the popular PBS Kids Go! series FETCH! with Ruff-Ruffman, led by a staff member from The Discovery Museums in Acton.

At Knight’s Life on the 10th, we’ll share a tale from The Barefoot Book of Knights and let kids explore the world of medieval knights as they construct a catapult to storm a castle and conduct a chemical experiment that can clean tarnished armor.

At Out of This World! on the 15th, we’ll read Star Seeker: A Journey to Outer Space and let kids design their own rocket and parachute in preparation for their own fantastic voyage! Ages 4+. $5 per child ($10 family max.).

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
