More and more, kids are asking where their food is coming from and there is no better way to find out than growing it yourself!

Kids can learn first hand and test their green thumbs by joining Verrill Farm's summer youth gardening class and cultivating their own small plots.

Classes meet Saturday mornings at 9:30am, May 5 - September 22; they include supervision, instruction and information about composting and nutrition as well as cooking tips for the crops!

In addition to recovering the fee in crops grown, each student will receive a 10% family discount at the Verrill Farm stand for the duration of the class.

Class size is limited. Details at www.verrillfarm.com. Registration required. Please call 978.369.4494.
