Basic Sign Language for Beginning Parent/Child Communication
WeeHands Signing Babies classes are designed for babies Newborn to walking. You will learn fun baby games that incorporate language development strategies for you to play at home with your baby. Each week, along with other new parents from your community, you learn a minimum of 10 theme specific ASL signs. We will also introduce a new song and book to sign with your little one.
The first half of the session is called Weehands at Home. Parents and caregivers will learn signs & songs to help you get started, food signs, family signs and daily routine signs. The second half of the session is called WeeHands at Play and teaches signs & songs related to animals, manners, toys and the outdoors.
Each session (Signing Babies or Signing Tots) meets once per week for 8 weeks. The classes are 45 minutes in length. Pricing includes a Family Guide for parents to keep. Within the guides are the ASL graphics for songs and the 80 plus ASL signs that are taught!
