Have you wondered about the history of your antique clock or pocket watch? Want to know when and where it was made?

Bring your antique watch or clock to The Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation on Saturday, July 28, 2011 from 1pm-3pm and discover the history behind that timepiece.

The Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation will have several historians and specialists on hand to provide condition reports and backgrounds for anyone who wishes to learn more about their antique watch or clock.

Please not that we will not be appraising any pieces for a price value.

At 1:00 PM we will host a story time for the kids and the young-at-heart. Then try your hand at making your very own pocket watch to take home!

The Charles River Museum of Industry also has a gallery of tools used and timepieces made at the Waltham Watch Factory. Come learn about this amazing process that perfected precision timekeeping
