Join us for a free 90-minute overview of the principles of restorative responses to harm and the faith-based alternative to problem solving known as restorative justice.
From resolving interpersonal disagreements to intervening in group conflicts, the concepts and practices of restorative justice create opportunities for meeting needs and participatory problem-solving.
Restorative practices seek to bring parties together and empower them to create options for moving forward that they all support.
Whether you are unfamiliar with the circle process or seeking a refresher, this introduction to circle process will enable participants to apply this practice to a variety of group settings.
This key component of restorative practices increases listening and creativity when it is needed the most.
Co-sponsored by the Central Association and the Restorative Justice Task Team of the Massachusetts Conference, UCC; and the Worcester Area Mission Society
