As part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebration, the Spellman Postal Museum is featuring a number of exhibits related to the history of the Boston Post Road including inviting children to ride a horse or pony on the Museum's lawn and pretend to be a pre-revolutionary postman.

In addition to the rides, children can do stamp hunts in the Museum's galleries for prizes, use stamps for arts and crafts activities and learn more about the history of the US postal system.

Gallery activities start at 10:00 with rides offered from 1:00 to 3:00.
Stamp 'Passports'about the road and free packets of stamps will be given to each child.

Free refreshments, gift shop and US Post Office open with a special anniversary cancellation and envelope available.

Also on exhibit will be the very rare 1918 US airmail stamp commonly called 'The Inverted Jenny.'
