It's a bird, it's a plane... it's a 3D printed spaceship! Learn to 3D model and print a miniature space craft of your own design (or borrow one from your favorite sci-fi series).

Led by 3D designer and danger!awesome associate Jacob Sonk, this three session course will guide you through the basics of 3D poly-modeling using Pixologic’s digital sculpting application Sculptris.

First, you will learn to manipulate digital clay in three dimensional space.

Once you're happy with your design, Jacon will teach you to prep your model for 3D printing using Meshmixer.

Both programs are free to download and are PC and Mac compatible.

At the end of the course, you'll walk away with your custom design, freshly printed from danger!awesome's 3D printer.

Mesh templates and sculpting brushes will be provided to help with the sculpting process.

Digital Sculpting for 3D Printing is open to all experience levels, ages 14 and up.
