M is for Museum is a first museum experience combining early literacy with observation skills and socialization.
Recommended for children ages 2.9 and up.
The Wenham Museum is a family-friendly museum of childhood and family life located on Boston’s North Shore since 1922.
Visitors delight in the museum’s 10 model train layouts that operate at the push of a button, a world-renowned doll collection, vintage dollhouses, a costume and textile collection, antique toys, historic photographs and the 17th century Claflin-Gerrish-Richards House.
Changing exhibits and family-friendly programming celebrate childhood, connect generations and honors local heritage.

Driving:
From points south: Take Route 128 north to exit 20-A (Route 1A - Hamilton). Follow Route 1A north for 2.3 miles. The Museum is on the right before the Wenham Town Hall.
From points north: Take Route 95 South to Route 128 North. Then follow the directions as above.
Public Transportation:
B&M Commuter Rail to Hamilton-Wenham; 15-minute scenic walk south from the depot on Route 1A.
