Get in gear at the annual Waterworks Museum Family Day.
This open house event will introduce kids and families to water science, engineering concepts, and the history behind the metropolitan water system.
Meet an original Rosie the Riveter, one of the real women who supported the war effort in the 1940s, and hear stories of the day.
Be ready to jump into some water fun, or watch model pumps and machines come to life with a little elbow grease.
And, all this excitement against the backdrop of the historic Waterworks building and the four story tall steam engines.
Come in costume as your favorite Mad Scientist or Steampunk, and learn, splash and play with us October 4th.
