Guest vocalist Sissy Castrogiovanni presents an a capella workshop exploring the practice of “Circle Singing,” a group singing style with roots in several ancient world cultures. Embraced and popularized by acclaimed singer and conductor Bobby McFerrin, “Circle Singing” incorporates improvisation, rhythmic patterns, and layered harmony, building singers’ individual confidence and musical awareness in a creative and supportive group.
