Theme days will range from “Animals” to “Codebreaking” to “Solar Energy” and most of the fun will be drop-in and free with museum admission. The museum will also offer 1-hour workshops for kids (ages 5+) and adults to explore together. Pre-registration is required for these workshops and have a fee separate from museum admission.
The highlight of both weeks will be the Sunday, February 24th all ages Mini Golf at the Museum event, where admission is just $5 per person. Visitors can putt through 18 mini golf holes set-up throughout the museum for just that one day.

Animal Days
Mondays, February 18 & 25 10am-5pm
Join us at the Children’s Museum of NH as we welcome our friends from the Cocheco Valley Humane Society for a special Animal Day! From 10:30am-noon come say hello to their volunteers and then enjoy animal crafts, games and activities throughout the day in both the museum’s Muse Studio and STEAM Lab. Free with museum admission. Join us at the Children’s Museum of NH as we welcome our Veterinarian friend Dr. Hunt who will be visiting for this special animal day from 10:30am-12:30pm. Learn all about what it is like to be a veterinarian! Enjoy animal crafts, games, and activities throughout the day in both the Muse Studio and STEAM Innovation Lab. Free with museum admission. Amazing Art Adult/Child Workshop
Tuesdays, February 19 or 26, 2-3pm
Make stunning works of art to take home in this fun, hands-on adult/child workshop. We will be exploring the art style of Dale Chihuly with each participant making a shrink paper sculpture - that will look like blown glass! You’ll also get to design and create marbled tile coaster art. Registration is required. Cost is $10 per adult child pair for Members, $15 per adult child pair for non-members, and $5 per additional child. Cost does not include museum admission. Recommended for ages 5+. Solar Energy Day with ReVision Energy!
Wednesday, February 20, 10am-5pm
Join the Children’s Museum of NH for an official Solar Ribbon Cutting with ReVision Energy at 11am. Learn about the new solar panels installed on the museum’s roof this winter, and then throughout the day participate in some solar fun! Try to find hidden groundhogs around the museum to get a prize, make a solar bead critter and shelter in the STEAM Innovation Lab, make a sun catcher in the Muse Studio, and learn about solar energy from ReVision experts. Floating Fun Day
Thursdays, February 21 & 28, 10am-5pm
Does it fly? Can it float? Join the Children’s Museum of NH for a day of floating, flying fun! Make your own boat to take home, try “The Great Plate Challenge,” or try our scavenger hunt and get a prize! Pajama Days
Friday, February 22, 10am-5pm
AND Saturday, February 23, 10am-4pm
Wear your coziest pajamas to come and play at the Children’s Museum of NH! We’ll be having night-themed storytime, learing about nocturnal animal sounds, making a special owl craft in the Muse Studio and more! This event promises to be more fun than even the silliest of slumber parties! Please note that the museum will close earlier than normal on Saturday, February 23rd at 4pm. Free with museum admission. Shocking Science Adult/Child Workshop
Fridays, February 22 or March 1, 2-3pm
Join us for this startlingly science-filled adult/child workshop where you will play games to learn about circuits and electricity – and then make your own paper circuit that really lights up! Explore static electricity with eye-opening experiments and make a static electricity craft to take home.
