Due to its straightforward syntax, dynamic data typing and the availability of a multitude of add-on library modules, it is an excellent software platform for rapid software development.
Students will learn the basic syntax of the language, storing data using variables, conditionals & loops, and controlling complex data structures.
The class will be meeting through Zoom, and will be taught using repl.it (online IDE).
Each session will cover a few topics, and will be followed by optional practice problems that could be done in your own time for better understanding.
At the end of the course, we will build a tic-tac-toe in the console to demonstrate our ability to facilitate control flow, conditionals, and store data using python!
