This 6-week, project-based learning class will provide students with an engaging activity for the after-school hours where they will put their creativity and executive functioning skills to work!
Over the 6 weeks, students will explore (kid-friendly) Greek mythology stories through drama, games, and art.
At the same time, the class will learn about astrological structures such as constellations and nebulas.
Orion, the Greek giant who has become infamous thanks to his prominent constellation, will be the main character for our class.
We will learn about other characters Orion meets along his journey, such as his father, Poseidon, Artemis, and the Scorpion who chases him through the sky!
Each week, students will also construct part of a cube-night light, which they will be able to bring home at the end of the session.
