Join interpreter Simon as we reveal the complex answer to that simple question, and discover some of the less-known stories about that fateful trans-Atlantic voyage.
Along the way we'll visit many of the monuments that tell the story of the folks who crossed an ocean in search of opportunity and a chance to thrive.
