Black Holes are objects from which nothing can escape – not even light – and there may be one lurking in our “backyard.” How can we know this? How do scientists find something that cannot be seen?

UNH Physicist Dr. Mark McConnell will explore the discovery of the first black hole and show you why we now think they are common among the cosmos. Pizza and soda will be provided.
