Jerry Gould D.C. will be here to discuss the important roles that movement and touch play in child development. Dr. Gould will discuss some wicked cool science behind how your child's desire to jump on the couch, wrestle with their siblings, and pounce on you may be a natural consequence of needing to promote brain growth and emotional connection.

Dr. Jerry will also explain how research shows us a link between a lack of spinal movement and some childhood disease or deficiencies such as learning disabilities, ear infections and asthma. Dr. Gould will explain how chiropractic is effective at addressing some of these disorders and give you some other practical steps you can be taking at home with your children.

Dr. Gould, of Hamilton-Wenham Family Chirorpactic, has recently worked with Sarge Goodchild of Active Healing and Maura Cronin of Corelink Craniosacral Therapy to study the effects of alternative therapies on childhood neurological disorders. The study is expected to be published this spring.
