Have you been recruited for college athletics yet? On Thursday, May 27th, 2010 at 7:00 PM, Brent Williams, former NFL football player for the New England Patriots, will be giving a “College Recruiting Simplified” seminar at Athletic Republic Norwood. All athletes, no matter what grade level or sport, interested in participating in college athletics are urged to attend with their parents.

Brent Williams will guide parents and student-athletes through the importance of establishing athletic and academic goals, setting realistic expectations and seeking opportunities at all college levels. Attendees learn valuable tips on finding the best college based on their student-athletes’ academic and athletic abilities. Most importantly, “College Recruiting Simplified” reiterates that the most valuable goal anyone should strive for is a college education.

• Understanding whether your student-athlete is really being recruited
• Strategies on how to maximize an athlete’s recruiting potential
