Listening is the foundation of good parenting; a prerequisite of forming secure relationships and supporting children’s learning. Yet in our fast-paced world there can seem like there is little time to listen. In this workshop participants will consider two examples of parents who listened carefully to their children to launch discussions about the value of and practice of listening to our children.

Part of the Boston Center for Adult Education’s new department, Child Enrichment & You, featuring both daytime interactive caregiver and childhood classes, and an evening speaker series answering questions for parents and caregivers.

Bean City Kids will offer a series of interactive daytime programs for both children and their caregivers. Complete with music, cooking and gym classes, both children and parents will learn and interact with each other.
