Parent Talk, the community-based organization in Boston’s Metrowest area dedicated to families with young children, invites parents and educators to learn about how to promote emotional maturity when it hosts renowned psychologist and author, Dr. Dan Kindlon, on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 7:00pm, for the lecture “Too Much of a Good Thing: Raising Children of Character in an Indulgent Age”.

Based on his book of the same title, Dr. Kindlon’s lecture will tackle the unique challenges of our affluent age and community to identify symptoms and causes of overindulgence. He will also provide practical strategies to help children develop a moral compass, take responsibility for their actions and have meaningful, fulfilling relationships.
