Bob Frishman, an expert on the restoration of antique clocks, will present a free one hour talk called TELLING TIME. It will give an overview of styles, makers, values, collecting, repairing and cultural importance of clocks and watches.

More than 100 projected images will illustrate familiar and unusual timekeepers from his own and museum collections and from the more than five thousand clocks he has serviced.

Bob Frishman has professionally repaired, restored and sold antique clocks for more than 27 years. People are welcome to bring in old clocks and watches (not battery or electric) for an informal evaluation by Mr. Frishman.

The program is free and open to the general public. The Museum’s galleries, gift shop and post office will open at the regular noon time also with free admission. All children receive a free packet of stamps.
