Category: | Lectures/Discussions |
After a brief review of the exhibit narrated by Dr. Rudolph, he will lead a discussion focusing on the years 1933 to 1941. The discussion will focus on eugenics, how healers became killers and the value of reviewing this history even here in the United States of America. This presentation will be a great introduction to the thought-provoking exhibit.
Together we will examine: How could this occur in a young democracy? How could the leading scientists and doctors forget their oaths and duties and willingly support the Nazi ideology? We will also explore how this exhibit helps us understand the fundamental questions of a healthy society and the rights of the individual in it.
