TECPA Presents, 'Thinking About Social Thinking: Supporting Children, Both Typical and Special Needs, in Learning Essential Social Skills' with Tracey Stoll, M.Ed., & Cindy Basso, M.Ed.

As educators and parents, we instinctively know the importance of supporting social emotional learning with our children. Being able to problem solve, understanding the impact of one’s own behavior on others, thinking flexibly, learning what is expected behavior and what is not—all of these skills have a powerful impact on how a child progresses through school and in life.

This program focuses on “Social Thinking”, an approach to teaching these crucial skills to all children—both those with social deficits and their typical peers.

The Early Childhood Professional Association (TECPA)'s Professional Development Programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of early childhood and elementary educators, afterschool professionals, program administrators, and family childcare providers.

Events include a light dinner at 6:00 p.m. with program running from 6:30-8:30. Cost per person is $25.00. For programming information, please contact Lori Davis at ldavis@tecpa.org. To register, please complete the easy online registration at http://www.tecpa.org.
