You will walk away with a new methodology, which will transform the way you create buildings and prioritize your sustainable goals.
If anyone knows the importance of moving beyond today’s LEED standards, it would be Bill Reed.
An integrated design process produces a result that is - cost effective, high performing, and elegant. So why is it the exception rather than the rule? Because design professionals are not trained to work interdependently and design firms are not managed to take advantage of integrated practices.
• What are the challenges to the practice of architecture, engineering, design and building -relating to sustainability?
• How do you know if you are responding effectively and improving your process and projects?
• What does process and human interrelations have to do with sustainability?
• How do you keep your competitive edge while still maintaining sustainability?
• Does the paint on your walls make any difference to sustainability?
This interactive discussion will address process dynamics from framing the initial design problem through developing practical strategies and finally implementing an effective work plan.
You will walk away with a new methodology, which will transform the way you create buildings and prioritize your sustainable goals.
