Cuba, the Caribbean's largest and most ecologically diverse island, is a paradise for the visiting naturalist. Of the more than 285 regularly occurring bird species, 23 species are found nowhere else.

Unique and important birding areas such as the Zapata Peninsula, the beautiful western province of Pinar del Rio, the north central coast and islands, the scenic central mountain range, and a wildlife preserve in the province of Camaguey collectively host such colorful and unusual species as Cuban trogan, Cuban tody, Fernandina flicker, blue-headed quail-dove, and Cuban screech-owl among others.

Don't miss the Cuba Bird Survey trip with Wayne April 10-22, 2012!

Location-themed dinner and lecture or lecture only. Dinner at 6:30 pm, Lecture at 7:30 pm. Pre-registration required for dinner.
