Returning to work after years as a stay-at-home parent is intimidating—but it can be done successfully. Carol Fishman Cohen is a Harvard MBA who stepped away from a high-powered job to raise her four children, and then a decade later relaunched her career.

Faced with myriad challenges, Fishman Cohen wondered if other women experienced the same struggles. Her business background shows in the organized approach she takes to guiding self-evaluation and assessing marketability.

In addition, Fishman Cohen will discuss how she encountered a less-than-supportive partner and children and skeptical prospective bosses, not to mention her own self-doubts.

Fishman Cohen is now a frequent speaker and consultant on the subject of career reentry. Her presentation will be based on her book, Back on the Career Track: A Guide for Stay-At-Home Moms Who Want to Return to Work, and it will provide step-by-step advice on how to approach a challenging but exciting transition.
