This time each year, millions of feathered travelers are making their way northward to breeding grounds that span the continent; from the fields, forests, and shorelines of New England to the boreal forests and remote tundra regions of Arctic Canada.

Their colorful plumage, whimsical songs, and curious breeding behaviors transform our surroundings and captivate us.

Join us at Patagonia Boston for an evening clinic from Wayne R. Petersen, director of important birds areas program for Mass Audubon.

You’ll learn how and when birds accomplish their migrations, where they are coming from, where they are headed, challenges they face and where best to see them.
