Conquer the new frontier of digital imaging technology at a pair of free, educational workshops hosted by Hunt’s Photo & Video and led by world-renowned photo innovator Will Crockett on Sunday, August 18, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Rockland, 929 Hingham Street, Rockland.

The seminars, titled, “The Future of Photography…Revealed!,” will examine the capabilities of the new mirrorless cameras that are revolutionizing the imaging process, and explain how the new cameras and accessories can be used to make picture-taking easier, more creative, less expensive, and more fun.

Reserve your space online at www.futureofphoto.com. Copies of Crockettt’s educational DVD, “Pictures that Move,” a $39.99 value, will also be available at a discounted price of just $29.99. The workshops will be held from 10:00 am – noon, and 2:00 – 4:00 pm.

Hunt’s Retail Operations Director Mike Mitchell says the upcoming workshops offer a unique opportunity to explore the groundbreaking technology that is changing the face of imaging in the 21st century.

“The basic premise of these seminars is that there’s a major shift happening in photographic technique,” he explains. “The new cameras are getting smaller and lighter, the manufacturers are taking the mirrors out of them, and the capabilities of the cameras are changing. With mirrorless cameras, you can produce extremely high-quality still pictures, incredible HD videos, and even 2D and 3D images, so you can be more creative without having to carry around a lot of heavy equipment.”

Crockett, known world-wide for his expertise in photographic innovation, will demonstrate an array of the new mirrorless cameras. The seminars are appropriate for point-and-shoot camera users, hobbyists, and other imaging enthusiasts who want to move up to the next skill level. Conveniently located just minutes from Route 3 and less than 40 miles from Cape Cod Bay, the seminars will provide a convenient stopping point en route to the beach and or a Cape vacation.

As the workshops’ host and New England’s leading supplier of photographic, video, digital imaging equipment and accessories, Hunt’s will provide trained representatives onsite to answer questions and demonstrate the new equipment. The Hunt’s Photo store in Hanover is located at 1207 Washington Street, Hanover, just minutes from the Holiday Inn Rockland.
