Harvard biologist Gonzalo Giribet, Curator of Invertebrate Zoology at Harvard’s Museum of Comparative Zoology, conducts fieldwork in remote and exotic areas from South Australia to the Amazon, studying invertebrate organisms to help assemble the evolutionary tree of life. Free and open to the public, Harvard Museum of Natural History, 24 Oxford Street. Free parking in the nearby 52 Oxford Street garage.
The lecture will be followed by a reception in the new HMNH exhibition, Mollusks: Shelled Masters of the Marine Realm. Reception $10 for museum members and Harvard alumni/ae; $20 others. Co-sponsored by the Harvard Alumni Association.
