Kim John Payne, M.Ed is the author of Simplicity Parenting, will be giving his lecture 'The Soul of Discipline'.
The evening will provide a developmental roadmap to help parents and educators establish both nurturing and effective discipline for the young child, for the elementary age, and, for the teenager.

Mr. Payne is a consultant and trainer for over 110 North American independent and public schools. He has been a school counselor, educator, consultant, and researcher for nearly 30 years, and a private family counselor for more than 15 years. You can register for the lecture and workshop at the school store, Homespun or on the school's website http://www.thewaldorfschool.org/lecture_series. The Waldorf School Auditorium seating for both the lecture and workshop is limited. For a more rewarding experience, we warmly encourage parents who intend to participate in the Saturday morning workshop to also attend the Friday evening lecture. For parents who are able to attend only one event, the Friday evening lecture is recommended.

BY CAR: From the EAST: Route 2 West to Exit 56, Pleasant St./Route 4/225. Right onto Pleasant St. Go 1/2 mile to rotary (pass Wilson Farms on right). Left onto Massachusetts Ave. Immediate right into the driveway of the Waldorf School of Lexington. The Adams Building is the brick building at the back of the horseshoe driveway. Parking is to the right of the Adams Building.
From the WEST: Route 2 East to Exit 55, 'Pleasant Street, Lexington.' Left onto Pleasant St. After about 1/3 mile, bear left to stay on Pleasant St. Go 1/2 mile to rotary (pass Wilson Farms on right). Left onto Massachusetts Ave. Immediate right into the driveway of the Waldorf School of Lexington. The Adams Building is the brick building at the back of the horseshoe driveway. From the SOUTH: Take Route I-95 North to the exit marked Route 2 East. Once on Route 2 East, follow directions 'from the West,' above.
