Living the good life and biodiversity compatible?
Or do we need to make sacrifices to our quality of life to fight extinctions and protect nature?
Our speaker will explore the shift in the conservation movement from fighting extinction to serving human needs and show how core values, an awareness of ecosystem services and cutting edge science can be combined to save biodiversity in order to live the good life, not instead of it.
This entertaining and thought provoking talk will be followed by a reception with the speaker.
Pre-registration is free but requested.
