A lecture and workshop where Michael D'Aleo explains how a phenomena-based approach to science engages students as they gain insight into themselves and the world around them.

Michael D'Aleo, Director of Research at the Saratoga Natural Science Research Institute is sponsored by the Parent Community Association of WSL.

As continual change becomes the norm in our lives, the best solution may be found not simply in new thoughts but in new ways of thinking.

The phenomena-based approach to science offers insights into learning how to think differently about ourselves and the world in which we live.

This observation-based discipline is the foundation for the study of science in Waldorf curriculum.

A phenomenological approach to science advances accurate observation, critical thinking, and skills to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in this quickly-changing world.

The workshop will give participants the opportunity to experience the phenomenological approach.
