Looking very much like TR and carrying a big stick, Zaleweski’s one man show combines education, history, drama and fun in this acclaimed presentation.
Zalewski’s impersonation of our 26th president highlights Roosevelt’s life as cowboy, soldier, naturalist, historian, father and statesman and helps people understand a man who won the Noble Peace Prize, inspired the Teddy bear and, at age 42, and became the youngest person ever to serve as President.
Zalewski has performed his show nationwide and it has been described as a 'truly wonderful one-man show' and “a stimulating evening of history, zest and emotion' by The National Theatre in Washington DC.
Zalewski 's portrayal has enthralled and motivated audiences as diverse as the White House, the Smithsonian, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame.
More info about Zalewski is at www.solotogether.com
In addition, the Museum will have on display an exhibit of “Presidents on Stamps” and “Presidential Inaugurations Postal Memorabilia.”
