Join in the adventure as Amy Fleischer, education director at Mass Audubon’s Wellfeet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, shares the saga of her month-long sojourn in Bali and the Flores Sea with “Shark Lady” Dr. Eugenie Clark.
Meet the fabulous creatures of the Pacific islands, including the object of our research the sand-diving “tricky” fish Trichonotus elegans and the impressive Komodo dragon.
Visit the island of Bali where Amy taught local school children about sharks.
Learn about the Green School in Ubud, built entirely from sustainable materials, and the mystical Monkey Dance, performed in ancient monuments.
This talk is illustrated with pictures of the Balinese countryside, customs, and people, as well as the stunning world of the coral reefs and scientists at work.
