Dr. Bryson gives parents practical ways to transform difficult moments (like tantrums) into opportunities for children to thrive.

In addition to writing and lecturing around the world, Dr. Bryson is an expert at helping parents demystify the meltdowns and aggravation children face by helping to explain the science behind how a child's brain is wired and how it matures over time.

She has been featured on Good Morning America, NPR, and in Redbook Magazine.

Her work fits perfectly with Massachusetts Brain-Building in Progress campaign as well.

Dr. Bryson is not only the co-author of the Whole-Brain Child book, she is the director of Parenting Education at the Mindsight Institute in Los Angelos, CA, under Dr. Dan Siegel.

She is also a psychotherapist who works with toddlers, children, adolescents, and families, a school counselor, and a mother herself.
