Bob Bigelow’s mission is to help educate and guide parents to understand their children’s’ needs, wants and capabilities in team sports.

While there are benefits to these activities (learning new skills, social outlets, teamwork, fun), there are also costs, such as increased pressures to perform and specialize at ever-younger ages, a fanatical desire by adult coaches to win, and a senseless lack of sportsmanship by adults and children alike.

He explains how to keep involvement in youth sports in perspective while enriching a child’s experience.
