Today’s high schoolers are accomplishing amazing things; however, face-to-face communication with individuals outside their circle may not come as easily, in particular dating.

This eight week course will provide structure to learn more about the specific rules and actions an individual can take to feel more secure in the way they should act in day-to-day life situations.

Topics covered: Projecting confidence, combating shyness, strengthening self-esteem and leadership skills, improving communication with peers and adults, navigating friendships and dating, understanding social cues, basic manners and table manners, dancing, resolving conflict, and recognizing and responding to inappropriate behavior.

The last class is held at an upscale restaurant where students practice and prefect their newly acquired skills while participating in a four-course meal.
