During the rainy season about 80% of the Pantanal floods making the area difficult to visit, while consolidating the spectacular wildlife.
From over 700 species of birds, including jabiru storks, the emblematic hyacinth macaw, wading birds, and tiny endemic antwrens, to 100 species of mammals such as monkeys, capybara, giant otters and jaguars along with fish and reptiles, the Pantanal provides a once in a lifetime bird and wildlife spotting experience.
Location-themed buffet dinner and lecture or lecture only.
Pre-registration required for dinner by 6pm Tuesday, March 10.
